Fort Hamilton High School Library Mission Statement

The Fort Hamilton high school library supports the schools mission “to provide all students with
‘Excellence in Education’”. The library is committed to providing flexible and equitable access to
information and build the skills that are fundamental for 21st century learners to become college, career
and community ready. Dedicated to bridging the gap between access and opportunity, the library is
steadfast to the ideals of inquiry-based education and enabling students to create academic knowledge, to
think more deeply and create their own learning.
